Portugal's gambling regulator SRIJ delivered responsible gambling awareness sessions to students at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo (EHT) do Oeste on 25 November 2025, expanding its educational outreach program to the country's hospitality sector.
The "Mais que um Jogo" (More than a Game) project represents a collaborative initiative between Turismo de Portugal, through the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SRIJ) and the Direção de Gestão de Competências e Capacitação (DGCC), with support from the Instituto para os Comportamentos Aditivos e Dependências (ICAD).

The programme focuses on responsible gambling awareness, particularly concerning online gambling and betting, targeting students at Portugal's tourism schools and higher education institutions. Representatives from Centro de Respostas Integradas (CRI) do Oeste, integrated within the Administração Regional de Saúde de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo, also participated in the awareness session.
