EveryMatrix has secured a comprehensive omnichannel turnkey platform agreement with Cashpoint, Denmark's leading retail and online sports operator and part of the Merkur Group. The deal represents a significant expansion of EveryMatrix's Nordic presence following a similar agreement with Danske Spil.
Comprehensive Platform Migration
The landmark agreement will see EveryMatrix technology power Cashpoint's extensive retail network of more than 1,000 sports betting terminals across 230+ shops nationwide. The platform will also deliver the operator's online sportsbook and introduce an online casino offering for the first time in the second half of 2026.
Cashpoint will migrate from its current in-house solution to EveryMatrix's turnkey platform technology, with the launch planned to coincide with the new football season. Following the platform migration, the brand will be rebranded to Merkur Bets.
The operator began its search for a new technology partner in early 2025, seeking a modern omnichannel solution capable of integrating and delivering online casino functionality alongside its existing sports betting operations.
Omnichannel Integration Benefits
Modern omnichannel platforms typically reduce operational costs by 15-25% through unified customer data management, single payment processing systems, and streamlined compliance reporting. Operators can achieve faster time-to-market for new products and maintain consistent user experiences across all touchpoints.
Nordic Market Momentum
This marks EveryMatrix's second significant Danish turnkey agreement within two months, following Danske Spil's selection of the platform provider to power its casino and bingo offerings. The deals underscore growing confidence in EveryMatrix's platform capabilities among tier-1 Nordic operators.
Cashpoint operates as one of Europe's most recognised betting brands, maintaining leading positions across Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Denmark.
"The Cashpoint and Merkur brands are some of the most instantly recognisable brands not only in Denmark, but across Europe. To partner with the team to deliver a project of this magnitude is both a privilege and yet another sign that more and more tier-1 operators and lotteries are turning to and placing their trust in EveryMatrix technology."
— Ebbe Groes, Group Co-CEO & Co-Founder, EveryMatrix
"This year, Merkur Bets will take another big step forward and take its already successful business in Denmark to a new level by switching to EveryMatrix technology and rebranding to Merkur Bets. In EveryMatrix, we have found the ideal partner to provide us with a powerful technological foundation for our continued growth."
— Mathias Dahms, Managing Director Sportsbetting at Merkur Group
Platform Provider Consolidation Signal
The successive Danish agreements highlight a broader trend of established operators consolidating their technology partnerships with proven platform providers. For operators managing complex omnichannel operations, the ability to unify retail and digital experiences under a single technology stack offers significant operational advantages and compliance efficiencies in regulated markets.
