SOFTSWISS has secured Andrey Doronichev, a former Google executive and AI startup founder, as the first keynote speaker for its inaugural Tech Race Summit in Warsaw on 10 September 2026.
Doronichev brings extensive big tech experience to the cross-industry conference, having spent more than a decade at Google where he helped build products used by billions of people worldwide. His portfolio at the tech giant included playing a key role in the growth of YouTube Mobile and later leading virtual reality initiatives, including Google Cardboard and Daydream.
Today, Doronichev serves as founder of Optic, an AI company focused on drug discovery and the use of large-scale computing in pharmaceutical research. His keynote session will examine how AI is transforming industries and work practices.
"Andrey Doronichev has worked on products used daily by billions of people and has seen several major shifts in consumer technology from inside the industry. His perspective fits the kind of practical and forward-looking conversations we want this event to create."

Multi-Track Conference Format
Tech Race Summit will feature three distinct conference stages designed to address different aspects of technological advancement:
The Vision Track will host keynotes and discussions covering AI, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology strategy. The Solution Track focuses on technical sessions and case studies from engineers and architects working on modern digital systems. The Experiment Track offers practical demonstrations, emerging tools, and unconventional engineering approaches.
The event targets engineers, technology executives, infrastructure specialists, and product teams grappling with growing technical complexity, cybersecurity challenges, and rapid AI adoption across business operations and consumer products.
Technical Background
Google Cardboard and Daydream represent two significant phases in consumer VR development. Cardboard democratized VR access through low-cost smartphone adapters, while Daydream attempted premium mobile VR experiences before Google ultimately discontinued both platforms as the company shifted focus to enterprise applications.
Industry Participation
Organizers expect around 1,000 attendees from across technology and business sectors. The programme already includes speakers and contributors from major technology companies including AWS, Oracle, Cloudflare, Google, Fastly, Gcore, and ScyllaDB.
Early bird tickets are currently available through the event website for the Warsaw venue.
Strategic Positioning for iGaming Tech
The summit's focus on AI adoption and infrastructure complexity directly addresses challenges facing iGaming operators as they navigate regulatory compliance automation, player protection algorithms, and real-time fraud detection systems. With cybersecurity threats escalating across digital gambling platforms, the event's emphasis on security architecture and emerging technical solutions could provide valuable insights for compliance officers and product teams managing mission-critical gaming infrastructure. SOFTSWISS has previously launched specialized analytics tools to help operators optimize their technical frameworks.
