EveryMatrix has secured a crucial regulatory milestone in its African expansion strategy, obtaining formal licensing approval from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board to supply its comprehensive platform technology across South Africa's regulated iGaming market.
The manufacturer's licence granted to EveryMatrix South Africa (EMSA) on 17 Feb 2026 authorises the tier-1 technology provider to deliver its full suite of modular and turnkey platform products to local and international operators. The licence covers sports betting, casino, player account management (PAM), payments, and affiliate management solutions.
EveryMatrix has significantly strengthened its position across the African continent in recent years, partnering with multiple local brands while building a robust pipeline of operators preparing to launch in the coming months. The company's acquisition of FSB Technology has further expanded its access to South Africa and other developed and emerging iGaming markets across the continent.

The platform provider's technology is increasingly being selected by large-scale local and global tier-1 operators and World Lottery Association member organisations across key regulated markets worldwide.

Mark Schmidt, Managing Director, Africa, EveryMatrix, outlined the strategic significance of the licensing achievement:
"Bringing our full suite of turnkey platform products into South Africa under our new licence is enabling us to power some of the biggest brands here, giving them access to technology that will instantly unlock their potential and drive market growth."

Schmidt added that major announcements are imminent, stating:
"Our casino, sports, PAM, payments, games and content aggregation and affiliate management solutions, supported by our local experts who understand their needs and challenges are providing an offering no one else has been able to offer so far in South Africa and across the continent."

The South African licence comes as EveryMatrix continues expanding its global reach. Recent developments include partnerships with betOcean for exclusive casino content in New Jersey (12 Feb 2026), the launch of 'Academy for Heroes' supporting Ukraine's war veterans (05 Feb 2026), and ATG® Casino's record-breaking €1.4 million MEGA Jackpot win (27 Jan 2026). The company also kicked off its football initiatives with the Pass The Stats rollout (16 Jan 2026).

EveryMatrix operates with more than 1,500 employees across 16 offices in 16 countries, serving 300+ customers worldwide, including operators in the regulated U.S. market. The company maintains memberships in the World Lottery Association, European Lotteries Association, CIBELAE, and NASPL.

In September 2023, EveryMatrix became the first iGaming supplier to receive WLA Safer Gambling Certification, reinforcing its commitment to player protection alongside market-leading gaming solutions.

The Western Cape licensing represents more than regulatory compliance – it signals EveryMatrix's strategic positioning as African markets mature and operators seek comprehensive technology partnerships. With major customer launches pending and an expanding pipeline of tier-1 partnerships, the licence provides the regulatory foundation for sustained growth across the continent's developing iGaming landscape.
The timing coincides with increasing consolidation among platform providers, where comprehensive regulatory coverage and proven scalability become key differentiators for operators evaluating long-term technology partnerships.
According to EveryMatrix.
